TLDR - Great experience at Worthington Automotive! I had my brakes checked at the normal national chain that I go to for oil changes (NTB) because of scraping sound. NTB quoted me almost $900, but I saw a brake deal online with Worthington Automotive. I gave them a call and was told that the deal wouldn't work for my vehicle due to the types of brakes used, but their quote for my brakes was still MUCH lower than NTB and a bit lower than some other places I called. They got the brakes taken care of and also performed a very thorough inspection on the vehicle overall. They provided me with a quote to get other work done based on the inspection. I told them I'd take care of the minor stuff (headlight, air filter, etc.) myself but Mike did show me that a wheel bearing was bad which was not a cheap repair. Nonetheless, I came back a few days later to get the wheel bearing repaired and they got me out quickly AND the sound that has been coming from my car for the last 1-2 years is now GONE. I had no idea I had been driving on a bad wheel bearing for that long... I just assumed that my car was getting old and louder. VERY glad I found this shop and will definitely be returning. Also shout out to Mike - I did get a little defensive when he first told me about the wheel bearing since receiving bad news about the condition of your car is never fun, but he kept his calm and showed me the problem for me to see for myself. Turns out he was very right and it had actually been bad for a long time and I didn't realize it (nor did NTB who I had taken my car to for multiple oil changes/complementary inspections in that time period).
